John Henley is a Wyoming native born and raised in Evanston, Wyoming. He obtained his bachelor's degree from the American University in Washington D.C. and his law degree from the University of Wyoming. He clerked for the District Court Judges, Seventh Judicial District, upon completing law school. He is a past president of the Defense Lawyers Association of Wyoming, Inc. and a former representative of the Wyoming State and Local Defense Organization.

Mr. Henley is currently a member of the Wyoming Civil Pattern Jury Instruction Committee.

John Henley has been involved in a variety of community organizations and service, including former president and board member of Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Wyoming, former president and board member of the Child Development Center of Natrona County and is former board member and president of the Casper Rotary Club.

Mr. Henley has on child in the Natrona County School District and coaches or has coached T-ball, youth soccer, and youth baseball.

Mr. Henley primarily represents parties in wrongful death, personal injury, professional malpractice, and motor vehicle accident litigation.
